"Saw Dr. Khar first in 2018. He did not lay a hand on me to examine me, he just said that by the look of my medical chart I have Fibromyalgia and because of my medication allergies there was nothing he could do for me. End of appointment. Fast forward to July 2022, pain is MUCH worse and was referred to him again. Dr. Khar stood with arms folded and stated he diagnosed me 5 years earlier with Fibro and there is nothing he can do. To his credit, he did order blood tests for RA - negative. Again, fast forward to January 2025 and pain is so great I am unable to walk or get out of bed. Diagnosed with PMR by PCP and put on high dose prednisone, referred to Dr. Kahr. Dr. Kahr denied the referral. Assume he's sticking to the Fibro diagnosis. Unfortunately, Central Oregon has no other Rheumatoligists. Staff was very short with me and would not provide me with a reason the denial, just said "we don't treat osteoperosis". What???"
