"I had to point out a potential issue on my urine test. Dr. Cook was looking at the results and thought everything looked good. That was when I had to tell her that the presence of granular casts was not good. She then decided to run the tests again to be sure. I left the urine sample. It took a week for them to get back with me (after calling twice to try to get the results). They told me that the lab had messed up tests and that I would need to provide another urine sample. I did so the next day and then waited five more days without any notification. I sent a message asking about the results and was told that Dr. Cook would contact early the next week. Waited until Wednesday when I had not heard from anyone and then sent three more requests for test results. Nobody even bothered to let me know anything. Two weeks after leaving the second urine sample, I went into the office and requested my results. They gave them to me, and I saw that Dr. Cook had not even ordered the correct test. When I questioned the lady at the desk where I could go to get the correct test, she sent me to the lab, assuring me that they could do the test at my request. I knew that was wrong and demanded my records so that I could change to a doctor that was competent and had competent staff. She then informed me that it would be easier if the other doctor just requested the records. I made it clear that I wanted a copy personally. After arguing with her for at least 5 minutes trying to get the records, she finally handed me the form to complete so that I could get the records. I then went to the lab to ask about getting the test, and of course they said that they couldn't run the tests without the request coming from Dr. Cook's office. Later that day Dr. Cook's office called and admitted that they had ordered the wrong test and that I needed to go back to the lab and leave a urine sample (for the third time and over 3 weeks after this simple process began). Hard to believe a simple urine test could go into the 4th week, and I still do not have results. "
