"Took me off of 1 med, added 5 mostly big pharma. I had to beg for medications and medical devices. He stated that the medications “won’t hurt me” because they are used for other reasons. For example, diabetes drugs you can take and not have diabetes, because they are used for weight loss too. They won’t cause you low blood sugar because of the way they work in your system. He can put you on big pharma, get the payments and meanwhile your medical insurance is being billed thousands for medications that you may not actually need. The medical device I wanted (CGM) would have told me that my sugar was returning to more normal levels, he refused to provide me with the device at first, laughed at me and told me it was not necessary. If I had been provided the device when I asked, WE could have worked on my healthcare together and avoided the many other medications he prescribed. He is not willing to listen to you and work WITH you on your care, he has his own agenda for your health care. He and his office do not return emails and texts in a timely manner. Bloodwork was only discussed at my next visit, no phone call, no patient portal to check. He diagnosed me with something he felt needed investigated for my heart, but never followed through completely and I was never seen by another MD concerning this heart issue while under his care."
