Surgeons - Granville, OH

"I called this office to try to get an urgent appointment. I have 2 new moles on the left side of my face that are itchy and have swollen lymph nodes on my left side. I was told multiple times that, "We are booking out into April of next year." I said, even for cancer screenings? She repeated herself and dismissed my concerns. Apparently this office only serves existing clients who are looking for cosmetic procedures. ($$$$) They are not interested in actual health concerns."

"Dr. Bernacki saw my husband one week prior to this date of service as well. After waiting an hour and a half in the waiting room (one that is not very accomodating for the patients being treated in this office), the doctor did not speak directly to my husband, but to the nurse only. He did not explain his diagnosis, care for the injury, or any other pertinent information to my husband. He was literally in the room less than 10 minutes total. After dealing with the office staff we came to find out that the doctor had requested an MRI. We were required to pay for the MRI upfront, out of pocket, even though we have private insurance. After they told us we had paid the full amount of what the MRI would cost (had we not had any insurance), they billed our insurance company $200 more than what we were told they would be billing. We are now receiving a bill fulfill the cost of the MRI, on top of a secondary bill because this office is unable to read the MRI's once they are completed. DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING THE OFFICE STAFF SAYS AS A QUOTE WITHOUT GETTING IT IN WRITING. Personally for the poor treatment and dishonest billing, I recommend you find another doctor (One that might actually acknowledge your presence and treat you like a human being.) "
