Pulmonologist - Defiance, OH

"I was referred to Dr. Sartawi by my primary physician. The office was efficient and friendly for the most part. Those doing the testing were competent and easy to work with. Dr. Sartawi came in and was friendly, however, he talked very fast and didn't adequately answer my questions or listen to my concerns. The visit was extremely short for a first-time visit and I left in frustration. His office then scheduled me for appointsments with several other "specialty" doctors with no explanation or concern that I had no way to get to some of the appointments. When I called the office several days later to try to better understand, I was made to feel stupid that I was not appreciative of Dr. Sartawi being able to see me as "he is the best." Several days later his scheduler called me and tried to talk me into transferring to another doctor or PA in their office as I had an "opinion" about Dr. Sartawi. I told them I didn't want to change and if he wanted to drop me as a patient, he needed to send me a written letter stating that and why. Then when I was to get some medical equipment, the office made it difficult because I wanted my own company to handle the oxygen equipment instead of their company. Basically they made it so that I had no choice but to accept their company if I wanted to have the proper oxygen concentrator that I need to breathe. As soon as I can switch my medicare advantage plan that has a different set of doctors, I am forced to deal with their office. In the meantime, I am suffering. "
