"1/5 Stars - Disappointing Experience with Dr. Norman Pflaster I recently visited Dr. Norman Pflaster at NYU Langone South Shore Neurologic Associates in Patchogue, seeking a new neurologist due to my previous doctor leaving the network. Unfortunately, my experience was subpar. Late Arrival and Lack of Preparation Dr. Pflaster arrived 45 minutes late to our scheduled appointment, apologizing briefly before rushing into questions. It was clear he hadn't reviewed my medical history or purpose for the visit, despite my having provided this information when scheduling. Unprofessional Communication When discussing my neurological issues and medication history, Dr. Pflaster became confrontational and dismissive. He implied that I was the problem, not the doctors, and downplayed my concerns. His defensive attitude and lack of empathy were staggering. Unhelpful and Dismissive Instead of working together to find solutions, Dr. Pflaster suggested I was the issue and that I should see another doctor. I left in tears, feeling disrespected and unheard. Would Not Recommend Based on this experience, I would not recommend Dr. Norman Pflaster or NYU Langone South Shore Neurologic Associates in Patchogue. I will be seeking care at a different location, such as Huntington or Lake Success, where I have had positive experiences in the past.
