Dentists - Latham, NY

"This was the most awful experience I’ve ever had seeing a dentist. 2 hours total for some X-rays and to watch her yell at an assistant in front of me (even became red in the face). Lectured me on the fact that I no longer wore a retainer on my top teeth from braces I had over 20 years ago that I had taken off prior to my wisdom teeth coming in and the orthodontist who cared for me the entire time I had braces advised me when to stop wearing it. I was there for tooth pain knowing I need a root canal. She saw my 6 year old was with me and still made me wait and made it a very uncomfortable experience for him to see when I’m trying to show him positive experiences at the dentist. I asked for a new antibiotic as the one I was using did not work and she refused. Even after I asked the hygienist again and explained I did not want pain meds just an antibiotic she agreed but the dentist still refused. She also then told the person in finance to charge me for a deep clean or she would refuse the root canal until I also paid for that. When I said I wasn’t sure I could come up with $1000 for a deep clean right now but would really like my infected tooth repaired and could pay for that she told me “well then we will just extract it”. She was absolutely horrible and I’ll never return. "
