"Have been taking my daughter to Dr Thant for over 5 years; he was a breath of fresh air after some surprisingly horrible people to whom our insurance directed us. Nice, informed, listens, and very easy to get an appointmemt. Personally answers many calls and returns calls very quickly. A bit out of the way for us since we're closer to the city, but worth it."

"I've had Dr. Yao since I was born. He never really showed true concern for my health...he was there to shoot a needle in my arm and that was that. Coming back today as a college student for an appointment really emphasizes how little he cares about his patients. I've struggled with mental health issues for the last two years, but never did something about it. But since going to college, I've realized how important it is to actually address my depression/anixiety issues. I came back from college to ask him to fulfill a prescription referral from a psychiatrist at the university, taking my first step to trying to better myself and my thinking. Dr. Yao could not and refused to speak to contact my psychiatrist on my behalf, like a doctor should do if they were genuinely looking out for their patients. Then, he told me to get out of his office. No matter what the circumstances are, you don't do that to a patient. No matter how frustrated, or tired, or sick of your job dealing with children, you do not lose your cool and tell a patient to get out. And he's supposed to be someone who deals with kids? His office staff is nice, from what I seen - but they tried to defend him, a doctor who tells his patients to get out. I don't understand how they can work with someone like that. Don't go to this place if you value your kid's health or are an adolescent looking for someone to confide/look out for your health.
