"Dr. Rothman is not retiring soon enough. He receives over $6K in payments from pharmaceutical companies, including Janssen, AstraZeneca, Boehringer Ingelheim, United Therapeutics, E.R. Squibb, and others, according to his “General Payments” profile. In my opinion, He was careless and mismanaged care for a relative, ignoring her labs and appeared to be a burnt out, angry and impatient Dr. providing no follow up. In my humble opinion, he is no “super doc” by any measure of the term. I find the numerous positive reviews puzzling in this context. For example, he was sued in 2020/21 in New Jersey for medical malpractice leading to the death of a patient. Check the court records. Fortunately with his retirement, no one else will be injured in their time of need by this Doc. In the meantime, you can do better. I wish you the best of luck in finding an empathic physician who cares about patients, their loved ones, and the ethical practice of medicine and who refuses payments and incentives from pharmaceutical companies. "This would be my second series of visits with Dr. Sayanlar. My father previously was a patient of Nate Lebowitz in the same office. I went to Dr. Sayanlar after going through pericardial effusion from a pulmonary infection. Thorough examination including blood test and stress test three years ago. This year as a matter of prevention, blood test, exam, sonogram. He recommended a CT scan because of a slight heart murmur which I haven't yet taken but plan to. The final follow up visit was today via phone. I am very pleased with Dr. Sayanlar and his staff and would recommend them. "
