"I have been a patient of Dr. Patel’s since 2017 and ever since my very first appointment I have never felt more seen or heard by a physician. She listened, took notes, asked questions, and took great care in detail to help us find out what was happening to me. She diagnosed my Mast Cell Activation Syndrome and has been treating me for it since. She is super respectful of my service dog, she helps get flares under control, and continues to make sure we stay on top of issues that MCAS can cause. She not only treated and diagnosed me but was able to show me through lab results that we had the proper diagnosis! I have MCAS anaphylactic reactions to stress, anxiety, and heat. We came up with a protocol unique to me and an emergency med cocktail that if taken quick enough can often eliminate the need for epi even though she always makes sure I have ones up to date on me. She also helped get my partners idiopathic anaphylactic reactions under control! Staff is wonderful and she is so much more thorough than the other provider I was seeing for typical allergies from 2nd grade through college. Switching to her was the best thing I ever did! "
