"Dealing with Dr. Schreyack has been a challenge--he gives limited information unless you ask SPECIFIC questions. He will tell you 'everything looks fine' and leave. After my bunion surgery, my toe has turned, I am having an issue with the pad of my foot, and have continued to not only have pain, but numbness that was never mentioned as a likely side effect. He seems to have trouble realizing that just because the knowledge is in his head, doesn't mean the Pt SHOULD or COULD know it. Not happy with this guy, and would NOT recommend him or his bedside manner. His staff however, tried to make up for him and were wonderful to work with. "

"A close wound on my foot was not infected but Faucett wanted to amputate it anyway. He tried test after test to prove he was right. 2 X-Rays, 3 blood tests, a CT scan, and an MRI all said no; except Faucett, persisted to insist he had to amputate. Faucett then mauled my foot with a scalpel looking for his "'Infection" but the MRI still said no. until two days later there was an infection from where he had created an open wound. It would take 4 surgeries, 17 day hospital stay, a wound pump for over two months and loss of mobility for nearly 6 months. With my report of RISK to the VA hospital he was removed from my case. My foot now scarred from surgeries is still attached. The pain suffering, loss of 6 months of my life was all because of Bruce Faucett. "
