"I personally was not a patient of Mr. Rudnick, but my brother unfortunately was during the months of October 2021 - June 2022. Mr. Rudnick unofficially diagnosed my brother with Stage IV PSC (Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis). PSC is a chronic liver disease that can result in death if discovered too late as well as untreated. Dr. Rudnick based his knowledge of this diagnosis primarily on ONE high liver/enzyme count after completing a fibro scan on my brother. Liver fibro scans can also be called Liver Elastography. This basically is a special type of ultrasound that sends a strong pulse into the liver tissue and takes multiple samples of an area in the liver to see how dense (stiff) the tissue is. In theory it's supposed to be a noninvasive tool that will hopefully in the far future help reduce the amount of liver biopsies that are needed because it can help grade how damaged and stiff the liver tissue has gotten. Prior to becoming a patient of Mr. Rudnick, my brother had his Gallbladder removed after experiencing extreme stomach pain. Once your Gallbladder has been removed the bile within the Gallbladder has to go somewhere. Usually the bile ducts will dilate and hold the bile until the intestines need it. My brother's bile ducts however are scarred and narrow so the bile has been sitting in his liver cells, which can cause inflammation. Over time the liver doesn't like being inflamed so therefore the body starts to scar the liver tissue which is formally called Cirrhosis. So, in order to correctly stage the level of Cirrhosis it would have been NECESSARY to have a liver biopsy done with imaging results. As a fibro scan is a wonderful scan, they can be tricky. Technology has come a long way but in order to properly diagnose liver failure APPROPRIATELY you cannot do so without having a needle biopsy performed. The fibro scan is very technologist dependent can be skewed very easily. If someone isn't very educated of this scan or holds their hand differently, or if the patient moves or breathes or even eats it can alter the results. So, while it was a good idea to have this done it was not a best practice by a medical professional to diagnose such a major condition at the stage in which he "thought" his patient, my brother was in. Even if he is in Stage IV Cirrhosis then why were TIPS ad stents and things of that nature not presented to my brother? If this was so severe, then why prolong next best action steps for as long as we were made to wait and are currently STILL waiting. My brother is only 25 years of age. He is married with a two-year-old daughter. In the midst of all of this he has tried and is still trying to work a full-time job that requires manual labor and be a present full-time husband and father. While this would be hard for anyone of any age, this has been that much worse with the time WASTED and lost by Dr. Rudnick's lack of urgency to act on how to best treat and go about his condition. "

"If you enjoy hold music, being your own doctor and never getting a call answered, or medications sent properly then prendiville is great! Prendiville would be better as a veterinarian dealing with animals where communication skills isnt needed with the patients. Everyone dislikes dealing with the process of medications being sent to the pharmacy and so does Dr. prendiville! He dislikes them so much that he doesnt even send the prescription over and I don't blame him! I'm sure it's a lot easier for this doctor to not send prescriptions or answer patients phone calls during working hours. I'm sure its also really annoying to have patients follow up after procedures or to ask about a medication never being sent, and thankfully Dr. Prendiville has an amazing voicemail where your calls will be received and never returned! Playing hard to get is a very fun and new quality I have never seen in a doctor before. Making things that should be easy such as answering a call or having a prescription sent over has a fun twist with dr Prendiville because they will not do either of these! I was written a prescription and it has taken months to get it. I can multiple times a week with calls going to voicemail, and NEVER receive a call back. I was told a perscription would go to a cvs so I waited a few days for it to go there and it was never received. I called Dr. Prendiville office and after 4 calls after going to voicemail I finally contacted someone who said it was never going to cvs and it has to be specially ordered and the person who wrote the perscription didnt know at the time, which is fine but why was I never called about this? They also were upset with me that I even asked but no one informed me about this and I was told it was going go a cvs. They said it would take a couple weeks and I should get a call back. Its now been about 2 months and I never got a call and I have checked my voicemail and calls daily. I have to keep following up just for this one medication but they never answer their phone during working hours or call back after leaving voicemails. I cant wait to get the medication then have my regular doctor rewrite this so I never have to deal with this facility and the amount of work it takes to keep calling and following up with this unreliable facility. Before this and After my operation it took 4 months of calling once a week during working hours to finally get ahold of someone to discuss a follow up appointment post operation where on the call I found out I was supposed to be taking medication the whole time which no one ever told me. I have never had a bad medical experience until this, avoid this doctor if you can!!"

"I had a horrendous time with his office's admin, incompetent wouldn't begin to describe them.They couldnt figure out my insurance and kept billing me and I would call their billing office get a recording then no call back so I would ask the receptionist and get the run around. I was told by insurance to tell them to "do it manually" but that took a weekly call with no responses to get them to do that. As for Dr. He was quite nice, and perhaps at a disadvantage as either he didnt understand my insurance or he was misinformed. The biggest thing i noticed was he didnt wear a mask?! I realize he isnt a virologist but really? A Dr not wearing a mask? Not wearing a mask when there was signs all over that patients had to wear masks, I was vaxed up but still wore a mask... the optics of that were not exactly great."
