Primary Care Doctors - Arden, NC

"There are no words to be able to adequately describe what an awesome doctor she is. She was my primary care physician a long time back. She left mission, where she was first my physician, and I made a move. In those few years she was not my pcp, I really learned what a treasure I had, when in her care. I saw more physicians than I care to share here, some were just getting through there day and moving me on (as they did all their patients) One physician, who was HIGHLY recommended …wrote notes in my file that weren’t even ME!!! When I questioned her about it, she laughed and said she was too busy to get it all down properly. YIKES!! I am so thrilled to be back in her care again. She is so very thorough. Brilliant & compassionate. She asks all the right questions, and you know that she is listening. She doesn’t just write scripts and move you on. She gets to the bottom of whatever the root cause is and insists on you doing YOUR part in making healthy life changes. You feel safe…like you are in partnership with her to become the healthiest person you can be. You will never feel like she is not totally into your issues. In nearly 30 years, I’ve not come across any pcp (internists) that even come close to being the kind of physician doctor D is. Though I am thrilled to say I have 2 Specialist who are of her caliber. I’ve thought about moving out of the area, but as I’m on the far side of 60, I’ll have more of my bits & bobs breaking and falling off the older I get- I’m staying close by so I can remain in her competent hands. Understand- there is probably a 3-4 month wait list to get in to see her, but it’s the best list you’ll ever be on. I wish I had more eloquent words to help you understand how great she is. Guess you’ll just have to get on that list. "

He actually listens to his patients and their health concerns before jumping in with treatment plans. He was very patent as he assessed me and explored treatment options. He felt like a kind and professional brother not a stranger."
