"She was referred to us as being a Christian counselor by our mutual church. She threw around some scripture when we first started but then when she said "I see no hope for your marriage" she never presented biblical views on divorce and did not refer us to a pastor at our church. She took very few notes and even in our a longer sessions, 1.5 hours, she took little to few notes. Many times would say "I am sure there is some truth to that but we will get back to it". Without notes, we never did get back to "verify" those things. She was also proud of the fact that she would not tell anyone to be honest. Instead she liked to use the word open. Most marriage books tell you to be honest and I think she does it disservice to couples who may not be entirely honest with each other. When I presented her with these thoughts I was dismissed. She helps many people but at the same time her quick judgement (lack of notes and verification) can be a disservice to couples which in our case tore apart our family unit. "
