"(for a visit at the New Ulm location, where he also practices) I honestly didn't realize he was the doctor at first. It seemed like the nurses were more with it than he was. I thought he was a new nurse! He had that kind of arrogance that newbies have sometimes. For a guy who has been in practice for 20ish years, you would think that he would have some knowledge of epilepsy. You would be wrong. You'd think he could write accurate medical notes. You'd be wrong there, too. Some types of epilepsy are difficult to diagnose, and not all manifest as grand mal seizures. The thing is, we didn't need a diagnosis from him--but rather stabilizing, and determining possible triggers. What we got was a doctor trying to push someone's flexed arm down during a seizure, saying that the eyes were intentionally rolling upward, and treating the patient like the seizures weren't real. This was also a patient on the autism spectrum, a condition he also appears to not have a great understanding of. It bothers me that he serves more than just the New Ulm location. It means that everyone has an equal chance of having to deal with Dr Kinnan."
