"On my first appointment in May, I was being verbally harassed & threatened with physical violence in the waiting room by someone attending a visit with her family member. At the window, I stated to the receptionist that I was being harassed and asked for assistance. This request was ignored. Staff stood around and watched/listened to this woman harass me until her time to be lead back to the room, at which time she stopped in front of me to verbally harass me some more. Staff did nothing to help/intervene/separate us until I yelled to get her away from me. I was texting my husband who finally called the police. This episode was extremely upsetting, even traumatic, and humiliating. Obviously if I can't be safe in a waiting room, there is no way I’d trust being in an operating room with these folks! I opted for surgery elsewhere. I just found out that the practice manager was not even aware that this incident occurred! Can you imagine the police show up at a business and no one reports this to the person in charge? That is how little the safety, care and experience means to the people at this practice. Don’t risk it, go somewhere else!"
