Primary Care Doctors - Rumford, ME

"I see there are no reviews so I felt I should leave one. I will only say what we who have worked with Dr Lynds already know. Dr Lynds is a good Doctor and if he were more open minded he could be an EXCELLENT Doctor how ever it would seem that in his years of practicing medicine he has become callus to people who are in pain, people who have done research on their conditions or people who have been on a long road and just know through their own experience what works for them. He is a very intelligent man, has respect for people and their personal time, he does not seem to place himself at a higher importance level then his patients. In my time as his patient I found he was rarely late even after lunch there was no ridiculous waiting room times ever. These things are all very important. It is also important to know that he is absolutely not supportive of narcotic medications, it does not matter who you are what your condition or if you came to him from a different Doctor he will refuse the medications you had been on. I found this to be very very hard to deal with, I also have a friend who did as well. He is the type of Doctor that if you know it works and you ask for it he will refuse you, without considering your history or notes from and previous Doctor. It is a shame he is this way because as I said he does have the potential to be an EXCELLENT Doctor. "
