My first therapist knew of me and my family through the community and was unable to see me past her preconceived ideas. Alex was immediately an excellent listener and compassionate as I cried and tried desperately to climb out of confusing, gut-wrenching and terrifying place I found myself in. I saw Alex once a week for several months. She was always gentle in her questioning, and was able to connect dots in my life that helped me to feel whole again as a human. We parted ways but I’ll actually miss her. She is a good person and the person I needed. "
