"While doing a lumbar puncture on me at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Dr. Min Zhu suddenky spoke these words and I quote...I have never seen anything like this before; I don;t know what to do; I need help. She walked around from behind me; past the desk and phone and opened the door. Seeing no one she turned to me and said the needle is still in your spine and you are bleeding. You must lie very still while I go to find help. As a young Cub Scout I was taught the meaning of BE PREPARED. It has served me well through my life. Dr. Zhu clearly was not properly prepared to perform this procedure. She did not know how to use the phone; she did not know how to ask for assistance. She just left me with a needle in my spine and went looking for help. Very unprofessional. Whatever dramatic and ultimately traumatic event caused her to speak those words quoted only Dr. Zhu knows what it was....and she is not talking.
