Counselors - Lawrence, KS

"I reached via phone call out midday yesterday about marriage counseling services because my insurance suggested Susan Miller as in my network. I received a voicemail system. I left a message with my name and call back information. This morning at 10:01 I recieve a text with, "Sorry. We don't do marital counseling." I did not receive a call, there was no name, or any other information provided. When I called Susan yesterday, I had also called a few other places. I was unsure who was replying to my call from the day before. I immediately replied, "Who is this?" It wasn't until 1:12 when I sent a second message explaining that I called more than one location the day before that I received a text back. "Sorry. I'm Susan Miller. Best wishes to you. Have you tried doing a search... Psychology Today Therapists You will get pictures and profiles and you can screen for insurance types and issue." I am taken back of the coldness I received from someone who is supposed to be helping people with their mental health. She is unprofessional and seems to lack the empathy needed to be in the career field which she is claiming to improve. "
