Cardiac Electrophysiologists - Burr Ridge, IL

"A cardiologist at Loyola highly recommended Dr. Vasaiwala and referred me to him. However, in my experience, I will never see this doctor again. He was arrogant and completely disregarded the diagnoses and test results of more senior cardiologists of my heart condition. Two major failings occurred under his care: 1) My ICD was not completely programmed and he did not recognize it. His boss discovered the issue and his boss completed the programming of my ICD, after an incident, and 2) During an EP study, I went into VT Storm and cardiac arrest. Dr. Vasaiwala was unprepared for the complexity of my heart issues having ignored other cardiologists. I felt like a guinea pig for this newbie."

"had a table tilt test with Dr. Broman at the OSF Heart of Mary location. The test came back that I have POTTS. Dr. Broman was very kind, caring & informative through out the procedure .The staff at OSF Heart of Mary was the same as well. I was prescribed a medicine for my high heart rate when standing. I had a panic attack late tonight because I thought my heart rate was too low . I was freaking out speaking my mother who is an R.N. ,so my mother, decided to contact him for me. My mother paged him at 1:30 a.m. & she said he was really nice . I feel bad because I know Doctors have long hard days at work and barely get sleep as it is. He has made an adjustment to my meds and sent it in at 1:30 a.m. . I normally wouldn’t have had him contacted that late but I was very scared at the time . I definitely would recommend Dr. Broman and I feel as he is a great person and he really cares . "
