General Practitioners - Tucker, GA

"I left my previous PCP because of bad service, and I think I went from bad to worse. If I could give them a negative two-star rating I would, but the least this review website allows is positive one star. Here are some (not all) of the problems I've had at this provider: I asked my previous PCP's office to fax my medical records to this provider and they did. When I asked this provider if they received the fax, they said they had not received it, so I contacted my previous PCP, who told me they did fax it and when. Then I had to go to the new PCP and tell them that the previous PCP's office had indeed faxed the records and tell them when they faxed them (which was 2 days before the day I asked the office staff if they received the fax). This new provider also gave me a prescription, and when it came time to refill it, I called Aetna (my insurance company) to have it refilled. Aetna said they had to contact the doctor's office to get a new prescription because I did not have any refills on it. Aetna faxed a request for a refill to this doctor's office twice and got no response. This is very unprofessional, but it seems typical of all doctors' offices these days. Now I'm going to have to call them, and they probably won't answer the phone or return my calls. Then I'll have to go there personally to get them to respond; hopefully, I won't catch the flu from a sick patient in the waiting room. Do all Doctors' offices only hire flakes to work as their office staff? What do I have to do to find a PCP whose office staff do not need babysitting? I paid my bill (which was outrageous) from my office visits, why won't they do their job?"
