"I visited this Dr. Robinson as a referral post COVID-19 symptoms. On my first visit we had a discussion about me getting over COVID-19. I’ve seen Dr. Robinson years ago about mitral valve prolapse. I hadn’t experienced any symptoms due to MVP but I I had experienced sweating and dizziness. However, my 2020 visit was due to issues I encountered post COVID-19. I explained that while I had Covid-19 I experienced tachycardia, shortness of breath, heart palpitations, and fever that lasted for ten days. My insurance company made it clear to me to advise the cardiologist that I was visiting due to post COVID-19 symptoms. However, after my second visit I explained to the business office manager that I needed to make sure that my visit is coded as post Covid-19 follow up. The office manager was very accommodating and approached Dr. Robinson and explained how my visit should be coded. Dr. Robinson refused to code my visit as post Covid-19 symptom related and instead decided to code my visit under something completely different. My insurance reached out to the office to inquire as to why my visit was not Covid-19 post follow up and received push back from Dr. Robinson. In addition, I also lost a family member and was stressed and had high levels of anxiety upon my 10/20/2020 visit. I explained this to Dr. Robinson and she rubbed me on my back and said we need to talk about your high blood pressure. WHAT?!?!? I have never had high blood pressure but in a moment of mourning and sorrow indeed my blood pressure was elevated. Days after my visit to Dr. Robinson my blood pressure settled back down to around 121/66 daily. This woman is very type a personality and certainly narcissistic personality. My entire visits were not coded under post COVID-19 follow up. As a result, Dr Robinson applied my entire visit to my deductible. This woman who supplanted herself as an expert on COVID-19 when even the experts are still trying to figure out the long term effects of Covid-19. In addition, I had COVID-19 in April 2020 and I was terrified because so little was known about the virus. Three different Teledoc physicians advised me to follow up with a cardiologist or pulmonologist after I was over COVID-19 if my symptoms persisted. I did just that and was told by Dr. Robinson that Covid-19 had absolutely nothing to do with my symptoms. I had never had these type of symptoms in my entire life. I was astonished to be told from someone who knew very little about the virus be so confident in her position on how post COVID-19 effects effect the human body long term. "
