General Dentists - Calhoun, GA

"Up until this visit this office was mediocre. Today’s visit was rediculous. First they called me and said there was a cancellation and to come 30min earlier (this has happened b4). Get there, didn’t get to the chair until at least an hour after my original appointment time. Now, I understand that unforeseen things can happen but if you know you called a patient in early and an emergency happens call the patient back and advise them. Common courtesy. Finally I get back to the chair and the assistant ask me has anything changed since my last visit. I say no but she wants me to tell her everything all over again and I tell her NO. She gets the doc I tell her the same thing. She says she can’t remember every pt’s detail ( I never said she did) I ask her did you not review my file b4 you stepped in here? I get the dumb look. Basically it escalates. She starts talking about did I get approval from my cardiologist to stop my plavix. 😳 I say to her on my last visit you got that approval that’s why you did the work. I had temps, this visit was for perms. I also reminded her that per our last conversation she said she didn’t understand why I had to stop in the first place because bleeding was so minimal and going forward I didn’t need to stop. The lady, in my face, bold faced lied. She said “ I didn’t say that I would never say that”. I’m looking at her like why would I make it up???? Anyway, I got my money back and said idios. She lost out on 6K because of what? So from now on, I’m recording all my doc visits. Something was wrong with her that day. Not sure but I’m reporting her to the board. It doesn’t matter if nothing happens, they will know."
