"First and foremost is that she and her staff are totally accessible. This being the reason I left two other cancer treatment centers. You have many ways to communicate with her office and her staff and you will always get a reply. The answer may not be what you want to hear but, nevertheless, you get an answer. She is very good at reviewing your records before an office visit, and I love that she or her staff circulate during chemotherapy sessions to see how you are doing. If I had a criticism, it is that they are overwhelmed. So, yes, your appointment may be 15 - 20 minutes late, and she may only sit with you for 15 minutes (sometimes, not all the times) but she does listen to your questions and tries to answer them. This (out of three) cancer treatment centers do very well managing your treatment."

"This has been the worst doctor's visit I have even been to. Dr. Zafar was condescending, arrogant, and completely dismissed all of my symptoms and concerns. She did not asked for bloodwork, didn't do any kind of check up and just wanted to give me iron boost shots to see "what happens". When I told her that I was allergic to certain dyes and chemicals, she asked me to bring Benadryl to the next appointment and take it before she gave me the shots to see if I "truly" had an allergic reaction. She even wanted to give me B12 shots which I'm allergic to. Everytime I asked a question she gestured with her fingers to "shut up" and shush me since I didn't know what I was talking about. Absolutely the worse bedside manner and experience with doctor I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and please avoid this doctor at all cost. "
