"I have been seeing Dr. Mehta for a few years now for a chronic illness that does not have a cure. I had visited several doctors prior trying to figure out why I was sick. 4 years and over $26k in medical testing and various specialty medical practices later I found Dr. Mehta. She was the first to diagnosis my illness and provide treatment alternatives that finally started to make a difference in my quality of life. My only complaint is she books out a few months sometimes--i.e. her services are in high demand. I highly recommend her. "

"With hopes that no one else wastes their time and money I am leaving this review. I cannot review the actual doctor since his intake staff, not the doctor, decides if you have a disease worth the doctor's time. If you have any disease that the doctor does not treat, like Fibromyalgia, you will not be seen for Rheumatoid Arthritis. I spent the last month trying to get a new patient appointment. I got the referral that Dr. Lance's office requires, although my insurance does not require one. Dr. Lance's office requested my medical records before they even called me to ask why I wanted the appointment. After a month of zero communication with me and no clue as to why I want the appointment, I finally got a phone call. Per the intake staff (not a doctor), I was told that Dr. Feller would not be willing to see me as he does not treat fibromyalgia. I said that I was looking for a Rheumatologist to give me a second opinion for RA and that the referral was specifically for RA and was told that I should just "stick with the doctor I’m seeing". I told them the doctor I was seeing was no longer with that practice and the new doctor decided I needed to go to his friend at a pain management clinic and get opioids, which is why I’m trying to get a second opinion and new doctor. They had no idea what I needed; they did not care that the referral from my PCP was for Sero-negative RA. The intake staff told me that because I have fibromyalgia, I am not “worth Dr. Lance Feller's time” as he does not treat that. Now not only do I have to pay for the doctor’s visit to my PCP to get the unnecessary referral, I have to begin my search all over again. This staff wasted my time, money, my PCP’s time, and their staff’s time. I find it to be unethical that people who are not doctors make medical decisions for potential patients. I find it highly inappropriate that this doctor’s office would make decisions about what I need without even speaking to me. "
