Gastroenterologists - Miami, FL

"STAY AWAY FROM GASTROHEALTH!! I would give this provider a ZERO but I cant. GastroHealth is a large group but this particular office was a total disaster from the start. The office staff simply is INEPT! The DONT return calls, rarely they return emails, they schedule patients for procedures and simply just ignore them from that point on. My wife had a colonoscopy screening with them. We both called and emailed the office MULTIPLE times over MULTIPLE weeks with questions re. her procedure and NOTHING...We tried to change doctors and that group has a policy that once you see a Dr. in the group, all other Drs in the group refuse to accept you as a new patient. I was explained this is the case because they can not charge the insurance again for a change in doctors...its all about money and NOT about the patient. My wife was given INCORRECT INSTRUCTIONS by the office staff in order to prepare for the procedure but then again, we called the office to clarify and NO ANSWER from them. The office lady excuse "sorry I was out of the office"...for weeks??? The procedure by the Dr. went OK but he whole experience with GastroHealth was a TOTAL DISASTER. On top of all, she was told the procedure was ALL covered at 100% and now they are billing us an additional $700+ on top of the thousands they billed the insurance…TALK ABOUT INSURANCE FRAUD!!! They are out to STEAL AS MUCH MONEY AS THEY CAN FROM YOU!!!! As of today 10/21/2021, 2 months after the procedure, REPEATED calls and emails to their office go ignored and they have not even called my wife to tell her the results of the examination!!!... So, if you need a gastro, find one that is NOT in GastroHealth group and save yourself some frustrations. "
