"I was referred to Dr. Hirschl by a co-worker when I relocated to Miami about 16 months ago. My husband and I both now use him as our regular dentist and absolutely love him and his staff. He helped me find a natural whitened smile for my wedding through Zoom! and has helped us both with our routine dental procedures. I HIGHLY recommend using him!"

"Went for my first visit in late January. Dr Ubieto was great explained what was needed and gave his recommendations. Made appointment for his suggestions. A week or so after returned for 2 fillings (left side one on top one on bottom) and a cleaning and was performed by a different doctor and not Dr Ubieto whom I originally saw. A few days later anytime I would eat or drink the bottom tooth that I had a filling some on would give me a sharp pain when chewing especially. Called was told to go in that afternoon. De ubieto examined me and stated it was over filled and did an adjustment. It seemed to have worked and thought was the end of the filling problems. Fast forward a few weeks and now I can't eat or drink anything that the top filling is giving me worse pain than the bottom one did originally. Called was told to come in the secondary doctor place some gel that was supposed to help and told me to give it at least 24 hours. 48 hours later called because the pain was still there went into the office and Dr Ubieto checked me out said he couldn't see anything and put same gel. Next day pain was still there and actually worse. Go in today and he advises he will be removing the filling putting in a temporary compound to ease the pain and allow the tooth to heal and he would see me in a week to get it refilled. Provided me an explanation which of course I do not understand seeing as how I did not study dentistry and told me it's nothing that they personally did. Unfortunately, I find that a little hard to believe especially since I had to visit their office 3 times in one week for the same issue and loose time from work. The icing on the cake, as I am making the follow up appointment I am now told that I need to pay for what was done to me today. I must say I am highly disappointed. The staff and doctor are very friendly great atmosphere but the fact that I had to visit 3 times in one week while dealing with this pain and then being charged for something that I had already paid for with the filling leaves me at a loss for words. While I get that businesses need to make money it is also important for these business to be empathetic with their clients/patients. Empathy goes a long way with customers and this interaction has left a bitter taste in my mouth. To me it isn't about the money as the charge wasn't much but rather the principle behind it and the fact that charging your patient who has had to go out of their way multiple times for something that should have been done correctly the first time or at least corrected on the next visit doesn't sit well. I want to reiterate that while the doctor and staff are friendly not once in my 3 visits did I hear an apology which would have been as simple as saying I'm sorry your going through this we will definitely get this right as dealing with pain for a week is it ideal in any situation. "

"I went in for a regular cleaning that is 100% covered by my insurance. Upon arrival, I was told I had to do a check-up and X-rays first. I agreed, and then another doctor, Dr. Rolando Acosta, came in and said everything looked fine—but that I “needed” a different type of cleaning not covered by my insurance. He refused to provide the standard cleaning that is covered. This feels like a scam. It seems they will always find a way to upsell or overcharge so you can’t actually use your benefits. They wanted to charge me $500 for a cleaning that should have been free under my plan. Very disappointing and untrustworthy."

For new patients especially, I would strongly recommend the practice reorganize their appointment flow: complete x-rays and cleaning before the doctor's examination. This restructuring would reasonably allow appointments to conclude within an hour, rather than extending beyond two hours for even the most routine visits. Perhaps most concerning was the unexpected $180 charge for "fluids" and "supplies" associated with a standard cleaning—a procedure typically covered in full by insurance.
