"I am so disappointed in how I was treated by dr patel. 1st of all it took his staff over 4 months to get all of my medical records. For over 4 months dr patel accused me of lying about having sleep apnea and the back and hip pain I am in. Over 4 months after fighting with him over the fact I do have itI got a call from his office informing me i do in fact have sleep apnea. For over 4 months he denied me seeing sleep study specialist. When he did finally get my mris and xrays, two sets, one recent and one from 3 yrs previous, I said to him look how much worse I am now, his response was just because it looks worse it doesnt mean i am in pain. I have a history of colon polyps and he refused to give me referral to my gastro to get colonoscopy which I am way past due on. I told him I had minor skin cancer and I am supposed to go in once a yr for them to do full body scan for cancer, I was denied that too. He said i couldnt see a dermatologist cause they will find things to remove that don't need to be removed. I have complained about waking up with extremely rapid heartrate, with no testing he informed me it is anxiety, that is not how my anxiety manifests itself. for over a week I was only urinating once a day and dr patel gave me conflicting advice 3 or 4 days in a row. I asked staff member why he hates me so much and is so mean to me and always accusing me of lying to him, which I proved him wrong everytime andtheir response was he treats everyone that way. There was a shortage on my pain meds, pharmacy told him he needed to call in something different, anything but tramadol because it interferes with my other meds, after a couple of days of fighting with him he called me in tramadol which he knows I am not allowed to take. I went through 48 hours of withdrawining and almost ended up in er, my bp was major spiking. He will no longer be my dr after this month. I also have several witnesses to him saying these things to me. "
