"I have been a patient of Dr. Schwartz for over 15 years along with my children. I really like him as a doctor. He listens to you and explains his intentions to you. However, I am leaving his practice due to repeated scheduling nightmares. I had set an appointment 6 months in advance. I was advised by the staff that my appointment would have to be changed as the doctor would be unavailable. That would have not been a problem except the next available appointment was 5 months after my appointment. That is unacceptable. I waited a few weeks before calling back to try to reschedule earlier and the next available was even further out. Obviously, they do not need me as a patient if their schedule is that full. If this had been the first scheduling issue, I would have overlooked it but his schedule is always full and hard to fit into and the staff at the reception desk are rarely pleasant. No smiles. Matter of fact attitudes. "

"This doctor has been my dermatologist for more than 12 years in Fort Myers Metro PKWY. She is wonderful and so is her staff. They take a lof of effort to help the patient. for their paperwork and all. In these 12 years, I must have been to their office more than 25-30 times, Never got a single issue ever. Shirisha, her PA is exceptional too. Their front desk is also very courteous. "

"I would not recommend this dermatology office. This was my first visit as a new patient for a routine annual preventative exam. It was In Network with my Aetna insurance. When I called to schedule the appt I was told there would be no cost to me for the annual preventative exam. When I arrived at the office, I was taken back about 15 minutes after my appt time. When the Dr. came in, she never asked any questions, she just started the exam. The exam took about 5 minutes and all she said was "all looks good" and walked out. No discussion about follow up. No chit chat or discussion at all. Very assembly line.... The entire appt took 15 minutes which you would think is good, but they billed $450 for the visit. As I left the office, I was told I owed nothing and I left. 2 months later I have now received a bill for $140. When I called to confirm why I was being billed, I was told there were several findings and they had to bill for the "findings". Odd considering the Dr. never mentioned a single thing in her 5 minute exam and stated all looks good as she walked out the door. When I questioned the findings and what they are, I was told to not worry about because they are all benign. How do they know they are benign when I never had a follow up or any additional examination of the findings. I hate to say this, but I feel it is a scam. Why did the Dr. not discuss the findings with me in the office and why would they bill for those after the fact. When I asked to have the "findings" / Medical Record sent to me I was told I would have to sign off and there would be additional charges to send me my own medical records. I am sure there are many other reputable dermatologists in the area, but Dr. Ashley Pezzi's office of Precision Dermatology is not one of them."
