"Dr. Gonzalez has been my doctor since 2006. He and his nurse Faun have been there for me through many frightening experiences - my husbands open heart surgery and monitoring during his 8 yr. battle with cancer, to name a few. Though my heart needs have not been as serious he has continually supported me and my needs. His staff is thorough, professional, and caring. I would highly recommend Dr. Gonzalez and his colleagues. Citrus Cardiology is a caring group of medical professionals. "

"This place is an absolute train wreck. First visited them in December and had some testing done in January. Had to call a few times to get results. They finally called me back and said the results were normal. I accessed the portal, and it showed the doctor hadn’t even reviewed the results. The Echo Cardiogram I received stated that the Study Quality was “Technically Poor Study” – which has me worried and I can’t get an answer if I have medial problems or if the machinery they have is faulty. I had this test on the 2nd of January 2024 - seven weeks ago. I went back and forth with the nurse a few times and as opposed to calling me she had the office call me to schedule my visit earlier. Still waiting for the stress test results as they were not on the portal as of today – 21 February. I had the test on 24 January and was told the test was normal – not sure why I can’t see the results. Dr prescribed me a medication that I was having a problem with back in early January. As opposed to getting me something different I was told to wait until 5 April to talk to the doctor – about 3 months to talk to the doctor about a problem with a medication seems a not ridiculous. I called a few weeks ago to move my appointment to this morning at 0915 in Inverness, FL. Got there on time and was told my appointment was not put on the chart for Dr Topi. I’m sure Dr Topi is a great doctor – but some of the staff at this place are a disaster. Maybe the office staff are stretched too thin - but I need to go elsewhere. I cancelled all future appointments – asked for my test results and will go elsewhere. I know several folks that feel the same way. I like to keep local with all of my shopping and medical – but for my own sanity - I will drive out of this area to get better care."
