"After being treated for thyroid cancer, Dr. Tourtelot was assign to my case. His level of concern and his commitment to my case were a very calming element to the relationship. I was on a monitoring schedule that required regular visits to monitor my progress. When I had tests, he would call me as soon as he got the results. I mean literally when he got them - in one instance on Eastern Sunday. My first reaction was to be concerned, who calls on a Sunday with good news??? Dr. Tourtelot does. That was just another in an ongoing series of moments that I found above and beyond. Over the course of the following year and a half, we stayed on our schedule and I had a re-visit of my unwanted guest. Dr. Tourtelot address my wife and I in very direct, sincere and compassionate manner. His command of the situation instills confidence and brings a sense of calm that is truly warranted in these situations. I actually look forward to seeing him, he is that approachable and available. Truly an exceptional doctor, person, and friend."

"Dr. Needham has been my nephrologist for probably 10 years. He treats me well and is very honest with me when it comes to my 19 year old transplant kidney. I have never had an appointment canceled and when I need to find out information from his nurse, she always gets back to me ASAP. "

"The PA was completely clueless about everything I asked her about and kept just telling me I was aging and that was normal. I am in my 40’s, I don’t think I should just give up on life quite yet. I made another appointment and went back to talk to the doctor who took my issues seriously but just referred me to physical therapy. When I went back for my scheduled follow-up appointment they cancelled my appointment without notice. Just refused to see me as I was sitting in the office. No one would tell me why and no one has returned my calls or followed up since, not even for my annual check-up. All they care about is keeping the appointment times and making sure the patients move in and out of the office on time. If you have real issues apparently they are not sure what to do so they will stop seeing you. Beware!!!"
