"Find someone else. Phyllis was a disaster. She claimed my insurance covered only 45 minute sessions (it was 60). She bullied me to stay later. She charged me $20 for every 15 minutes above 45, including the 15 that should have been included. The pricing wasn't the issue, but since she never reported those "overage sessions" to my insurance, I couldn't use my flex spending account on them. She also insisted on cash payments before each appointment. I know billing and paperwork is a hassle, but the way she handled it seemed shady and like she was trying to scam me into paying her more money under the table. . She also gave me crazy guilt trips for one night out a week when I would actually socialize and see my friends or the fact that I had my kids in after school activities because clearly I should have been spending every waking moment at therapy. When I told her that her billing practices just didn't work for me and I needed someone who would take a credit card or send me a bill, she yelled at me. Who does that? So unprofessional. "

What is Social Work?
