Rheumatologists - San Jose, CA

"He seems to be a fake rheumatologist. I saw Dr Abbas for a painful condition in my finger. I have had this condition a few times before and I was seen by excellent doctors who treated me and fixed my problem. Those doctors are now retired. He kept asking me questions completely unrelated to my condition and eventually I had to remind him the reason for my visit and that his questions were not relevant. He seemed completely clueless and I had to tell him that in my previous treatment I was given an injection and that fixed my problem. He asked me "so you want an injection?". This was very strange because I expected him to tell me what he will do instead of asking me. I told him, yes I want an injection and he replied "I have given many such injections". This comment was also very strange. Was he trying to boast? Isn't it his job to give injections when needed? He finally gave me an injection and kept asking "does it hurt" while he was injecting me. This is a very painful injection and in my previous treatments the doctors told me that beforehand. I had to tell Dr Abbas to complete the injection and be done with it instead of asking me if it hurts. My hand kept hurting for several hours after the injection whereas in my previous treatments this was not the case. Also the place on the finger and the direction in which he injected was completely different compared to my earlier treatments. I will not be seeing this doctor again. I would give him 0 stars if I could. "
