My first appt was a PAP, and the students do that; It was the most painful i have ever experienced. When I cried, the doctor said to me "This shouldn't hurt at all, you have tattoos", and he laughed. I ended up going back because i had a cyst, and i just hoped it was a one off experience. He had the students give me the shots, cut me open, and drain the cyst. All while telling them "no not there, over there" or "go deeper or angle better this way". I was crying histerically from the pain and discomfort. AFter it was finished, he said "get yourself cleaned up, there wasn't that much blood". I went through an entire tissue box and napkins cleaning up the blood, and i was still bleeding. He did not offer a pad. I stuck my head out slightly to ask for a pad. Dr. Vu walked in with the door wide open to the office and staff while i had NO PANTS ON, and then laughed. I was still crying. I felt violated and traumatized. He told me i had to follow up in one week. I only went back because i thought i had to. When i walked in, he said "I assumed you'd cancel if you were fine", then told me i could go... No exam, just a 20 second conversation. Trust me if knew i could have canceled, i would have, but i was never given that choice. Later i receive a huge bill for that visit. When i called and asked to talk to billing, they gave me a phone number. I called, and she texted back saying doesn't matter its an appt if you walked in the door even if no services were provided. I called the office and they said "oh yea she doesn't like to talk to people; we communicate by email or text" WTF. and then she refused to talk or communicate and just said "Ok. Bye." when i kept asking. Luckily insurance had my back, and called with me to the office againt to get things taken care of. "
