Patients are also screened for dental diseases. Diagnosis may use dental X-rays, dental casts, tissue samples, and other imaging techniques to determine appropriate treatment.

Prosthodontic treatment ranges from minor cosmetic procedures to complex full teeth restorations. Typical prosthodontic treatments may include:
