"Fara who takes care of billing is the worst. On July 31st, the office charged me $198 as deductible, even though it was my first visit and I had not yet seen a doctor or been diagnosed. When I checked with the front desk, I was told that the insurance company told them that I have a deductible. I called my insurance company immediately. After I talked with insurance company, I contacted the billing lady and told her there was only a $20 co-pay and no deductible, but she said she could not confirm that there was no deductible. Unfortunately, I did not receive a refund that day. My husband spent a week on this issue and even sending an EOB statement but was told the issue was caused by a misunderstanding by my insurance company and she insisted it was not her fault. Even though she said I shouldn't have been charged the deductible, she went so far as to say that she didn't understand why I'm so angry about $198. It was charged on July 31st and my dead line of credit card was August 4th. I know there is a grace period before payment is due, but I always pay in full for what I spent. After repeated explanations, I finally got a refund of $178, excluding the co-payment. At the time, she said she couldn't refund without confirmation like this time, but she will refund because I'm so angry. There will be no "next time! " I won't come back:)"
