Physiatrist - Folsom, CA

"🚫WARNING🚫 This doctor has been sued for fraudulent billing practices & Walmart pharmacy will not accept his prescriptions for unethical business reasons. Him & his staff are severely unprofessional & their only focus is prolonged billing of a patients insurance, NOT short-term recovery. They charge patients outrageous amounts of money to complete required medical forms & demand cash to avoid IRS tracking. When I fired him as a physician he ran in his office and canceled my prescription refill out of retaliation. His offices are nothing more than a money laundering scheme & will become a hostile environment towards patients questioning their unethical behavior. Avoid this place at all costs. As a friend said... I wouldn't let that guy clip my fingernail, let alone do surgery! I'd agree 👎"

"Staff refuses to answer the phone. Calling the on-call doctor you will never receive a call back. His PA Misha Nguyen & office mgr Taylor are unethical and unprofessional while Dr Joves endorses their immature behavior with lame excuses. They disrespectfully talk over you & cut you off while you're speaking. Made me wait 40 addtl minutes past my appt time because I was standing in line waiting for them to check-in other patients. They incorrectly filled out my DMV handicap placard form because they refused to follow simple instructions causing me to waste my time going to DMV w the form being rejected. Seven days after they submitted a refill for my pain meds, they instructed the pharmacy not disburse my prescriptions, leaving me 100% w/o medication telling me to go to ER if I had a problem. When I told his PA I would be reporting her to the medical board, out of retaliation they canceled my pain medication prescription & lowered the qty for the other med to further harass me. He then stated that he would no see me as a patient after leaving me without pain medication for days when his PA had submitted the prescription it to the pharmacy 7 days prior to before deciding to block it and make me continue to wait out of harassment because I had no right to complain about their unprofessional and unethical behavior. DO NOT use this doctor for any pain management at Spine/ Nerves Diagnostics. They forget in these situations they are the employee not the employer and there are plenty of better doctors with more experience than him while he apparently feels he & his inhumane staff are infallible from being reported to medical boards. Dont waste your time, or insurance benefits dealing with these unethical people who are obviously an invasion to the medical industry with their untrustworthy and incorrigible behavior. Instead of immediately resolving poor customer service issues with his staff he'd rather retaliate by going behind your back and canceling your prescriptions like some sick, inhumane and deranged person on a power trip. These people are bad news in the medical industry."
