"I reached out to Dr. Phillips to schedule an appointment, indicating that my husband was dying and I needed someone that could help me process it. She suggested that she could only do a phone call/video due to the pandemic. I clearly indicated that I wanted a video rather than an impersonal phone conversation. I had spent a year and a half alone in the house while my husband declined and I needed some human contact. She agreed to look into it and to send me a link prior to our appointment. The afternoon before the appointment I texted her again, indicating that I had not yet received the video link. She said that she was just going to do a phone call. I indicated my dismay because I had so clearly delineated my situation. She called and said that "I deserved to have someone that was willing to meet with me via video/in person." I agreed. I got the sense that her needs, which clearly excluded using any kind of technology, were her main focus and not the needs of the client. "

"I fired Allison because her advice was something you can get from a girlfriend about dating. She doesn't seem to have anything one might garner from educational training to offer. After that, her office overbilled me When I emailed them about that, she sent police to my home telling them I was committing suicide. I never discussed committing suicide nor contemplated it. She abused her state license and wasted resources in my community which is 300 miles away from some desert outpost where she lives and issues one-dimensional advice over zoom. She never apologized either. She wanted to embarrass me in my neighborhood and before my family members. I am horrified anyone would enter a profession to hurt others but indeed Allison did exactly that."
