Pediatric Dermatologist - Phoenix, AZ

"The search for a good dermatologist that cares about your issues in this area of Phoenix is still ongoing- this is not it. After being seen at a different branch and being dismissed with a blanket treatment for my true concern (seems like acne is the only thing the original dr cared about) , I decided to try a different doctor to see if I could have better luck. Sadly, the only bright spot was the lovely receptionist. The absolute WORST assistant? Is what I'm assuming the short blonde was- holy moly how unprofessional, rude and dismissive! She stops me and reiterates the last diagnosis saying 'well he can look at the diagnosis again' like I'm an idiot - even though I explained exactly what happened last time. She SLAMS the door- starts talking to the doctor outside. I literally could hear her describing my concern as something that had been addressed in the past- that I*** was trying to say was a different diagnosis. With her attitude and smirk she joins Dr Arun Sood in the room- who after roughly handling my head and hair, had to agree with me and told this nasty lady it WAS, after all, what I had said. The doctor was short, rough, and did not take any time to talk me through this - he only sounded annoyed in saying he was going to have to agree. Within 5 minutes I was out the door - short blonde lady noticing I'm no longer engaging with her as she tries to repeat exactly what the doctor just told me about how to administer treatment. YIKES! Never again. Don’t advertise dermatology and plastic surgery if a dermatology concern won’t be of interest to you. Don’t try to make patients feel like they’re ridiculous for having valid concerns. No one should be treated like that! "
