"This practice was disorganized, rushed, and careless. I felt like I had walked in to an urgent care clinic complaining of a sore throat instead of a private neurology office complaining of symptoms that had dramatically interrupted my daily life. The doctor spent collectively 5 minutes with me over two appointments, didn’t take a complete medical history, and didn’t listen to or write down anything I said. When I returned for a follow up, she didn’t remember who I was or why I had come in the first place and hadn’t reviewed any of the lab results from the test she had ordered. She rushed in and out to get them and then read them out loud to me as she read them the first time. If they had been anything other than normal, I would’ve found out at exactly the same time as her in a rushed and hurried way devoid of care or compassion. She felt she could conclusively rule out/in diagnoses after looking at one test result for 30 seconds. The medical assistants didn’t follow through in scheduling, forgot to call in a prescription, and failed to follow up with insurance about the labs that had been ordered and failed to follow up with me about scheduling once the insurance approved. When I requested my records be faxed to me or the new doctor I had found, they would only do so if I came in person to fill out a release form. They wouldn’t fax or email me a form. When I arrived the next day, they hadn’t prepared the records. When I got the records, none of the lab results were included and I had to call each place independently to get them. When I read the notes, the doctor had captured a wildly incomplete picture of why I was being seen and had neglected to note or record more than 85% of the symptoms I had been experiencing. This whole practice is haphazard and careless. If you are looking for thorough, informed, compassionate care, look elsewhere. "
