Let me preface with this, Dr. King has been my PCP for a couple of years now. I have only visited her office 3-4 times because she does phenomenal work with pain management for my bursitis/arthritis and she has never presented with anything less than stellar service. Neither has her staff (they are the sweetest ladies). However, after receiving lab work from my current OB/Gyn and not having an in-depth explanation of the results I called around to Dr. offices, 24-Hour emergency centers, even Harris County Department of Health (there was a specific result I needed interpreted), no one would or could help me. Something (God) finally said call Dr. King's office.I called 30 minutes before they closed the receptionist said let me speak to Dr. King and see if she has time today. She was in a meeting at the time but within 5 minutes, I had a call back. Unfortunately, I missed it and had to call back myself. I left a message and within 20 minutes Dr. King had called me back and rendered an in-depth interpretation of of each lab on the 6 page report. She answered every question and I could literally hear the smile on her voice. I was so happy I could cry (even when she told me that my cholesterol was high and that I pre-diabetic) it was the fact that the Dr.'s office that ran the reports hadn't gone over any of this information and I wouldn't have known had she not been willing to help when I was truly at wits end. As I said she has never been anything but patient, pleasant, and welcoming but this, this was above and beyond in my opinion. Did I mention it was after hours by the time we were finally able to speak? This woman was a true God send in my time of need.
