Wallis cancelled our first session an hour before the time because my paperwork wasn't handed in yet...I literally sent her the paperwork and insurance two hours before the call...I have been in therapy literally my whole life since the 3rd grade and needed help. I've never heard of or had someone cancel because of such petty stipulations that have no impact on anything. She could have called - sent note on how important this was - stressed "before the session" actually means some other time to her. She's the unfortunate byproduct of the industry being overwhelmed and letting JUST ANYONE into the profession e.g., art therapists, social workers, clinical therapists, etc.
