Truly horrifying experience. I went there to have my daughter tested for potential ADHD. After filling out about 20 pages of forms between my daughter and I, she was sent back to see Dr. Mangewala. Approximately 15 minutes later, I am invited back to join them. The doctor explained that my daughter has ADHD and he will prescribe some medication, Ritalin being one of them. I was shocked and asked on what basis was he making that recommendation. He said it was based on a "clinical diagnosis". I asked what constituted a clinical diagnosis. He said it was based on the forms we filled out and his conversation with her. I asked if there were actual tests that could be run, and he conceded that there were. My daughter and I were both horrified. I explained that we came in just to verify whether or not she had ADHD, and not to get some pills handed out to us. I could get on my soapbox right now, but suffice it to say that this approach to just handing out pills without any medical basis is simply scary.
