Dr. Vanessa Kay Gordon, D.D.S.

I want to be very clear. The actual service by Dr. Gordon may be faaaantastic. However, her logic in not accepting my husband as a patient and scheduling a mere appointment is astoundingly idiotic.
My family's dentist was located in the same building and stopped accepting my insurance starting in Feb. My husband called Dr. Gordon's office because she was located in the same building and in the network. He wanted to see if we could make appts for June before switching to her. He found that we were already switched to her unbeknownst to us. The problem is that everyone was automatically switched EXCEPT him (3 out of 4 people)..
We then ask Dr. Gordon can she make the appt for June since his switch would occur in June. She...said....no. Until he was on the roster for June, she couldn't schedule the appt. The problem is that when June comes, appts would be further pushed out.

Here's the clincher. My insurance already told her that they would pay for him to be effective as of FEBRUARY so Dr. Gordon would have lost nothing. Her contention was that she might not get paid which was idiotic for those PAST months. Why? We ALL weren't coming for the appt until June in the first place. She ONLY had something to gain.

Due to this, I decided to take my whole family off her roster and go elsewhere. She goes from 3 and another 1 patient to losing all 4 all because she couldn't merely schedule an appt three weeks early.

For that, I can't trust the logic and most certainly won't reward such stiff idiocy in shooting one's own foot.
