Dr. Usman Ajaz, MD

Dr Ajaz and his team run their practice like a well oiled machine. He runs on time, doesn't rush through appointments, is a great listener and remembers things I tell him (and takes good notes). He refers to my comments from previous appts to follow up with those concerns. He makes sure, via text reminders and calls from his team, to remind me to get blood tests on schedule. He explains well. We always establish a game plan of care until my next appointment. His team always gets back to me very quickly, and much of the time, I get through to his nurse right away. Any time I have had something urgent come up, that might be my own fault, or a last minute call late in the day, they work with me to make sure that I get the care when I need it, without necessarily requiring me to come in or be forsed to go somewhere else. And finally, he has really troubleshooted and helped me feel better. My quality of life has dramatically improved over time, thanks to him.

Overall great. Dr. Ajaz does have a full schedule but anytime I message his team they get back to me quickly. The receptionist was rude to me, and I did not really care for her. I interacted with a different one intentionally when I left. I also don't want to be asked to weigh myself every time I enter a dr. Office. Especially since it is in my chart. The BMI has been shown to be wrong and I am not sure why or HOW it is still in use. I have gotten mid diagnosed and received poor care in the past (a different provider) Because rod my weight, when I have health conditions impacting it. The mid diagnosis and adding on of diagnosis I don't have is a problem. This provider Dr. Ajaz has been wonderful, it is great to be believed and seen and then supported. I am very grateful and it will help me manage and reduce damage of the chronic condition I have.

I have at least 3 other family members that need to been seen by and have an excellent Rheumatologist ASAP. I only wish I could get them into this office of great physicians quickly. Dr . Ajaz and his team in the office, as well as in the infusion room, are top notch! I spent several years with too many sub par rheumatologists, so I feel very blessed to have finally found such great care! I only wish I could do the same for the ones I've referred. Thank you for this group of fabulous care providers!

I really trust Dr. Ajaz and feel like he cares about my well-being. The ability to meet via Zoom can be handy, the only issue I have is that following up to schedule the next appointment is not easy. If we could do it online or someone could follow up with us, that would be fabulous. I've got a note to make an appointment, though I get involved in my work and forget to call. It will take me a while to get to it and I might be off schedule by the time I am able to do this. Just a suggestion.

This doctor is a great teacher when it comes to helping me understand my illness, the difference between the pain of PMR and arthritis and how to know what is the pain in the morning.He his a kind and caring spicalist and that Is something you don't always find today. His office and the front desk are staffed with a caring staff. 10 is not a high enough number to describe how much I appreciate this clinic. We need more like this.

I really appreciate Dr Ajaz. He seems to show concern and willingness to give me the best care. His assistants that bring you back to the office are clearly not concerned and give snappy answers that are meant to convey disinterest. Also when I send in messages through MyChart, the assistants do not want to explain much. I am very pleased with everything else. Once again, Dr Ajaz is a kind knowledgeable and amazing doctor.

Dr. Ajaz is the kindest and most professional Doctor that I have ever been treated by. He truly cares about my well being and makes sure to reach out to me if any of my tests that he has prescribed show cause for concern. I am thankful for Dr. Ajaz and only wish that other health care providers took their work and the care that they provide as seriously as Dr. Ajaz does.

Visit was great, tried to set up next appointment but was told someone would call. After a week I called them and had to leave a message. Finally they called and let me know Dr Ajaz was moving away. I couldn't believe he didn't tell me himself. My next visit I will have a new Doctor. Thank you Dr Ajaz you were great while you were there for me.

All was great with Dr, Nurse and all personal, it seemed like a happy place to work! Dr was fantastic, explained everything well. My only complaint was having to wait almost three months to get an appointment while being in excruciating pain and so sick. It's sad you can't get to a doctor when you really need too.

Always great to see Dr Ajaz & his staff! Dr Ajaz always reviews my labs & meds I take. Always checks my hands- that usually hurt the worst! Happy that the MTX injections are working well at present time. I just love all the knowledge & brilliance he has in rheumatology- he's an excellent physician!
