Ms. Tristan Neider

We took our child to this office to see Tristan. She was a decent speech therapist; we only saw her a few times because she was nine months pregnant. Her approach was very much in line with what early intervention offers. Our child was under the age of 3 at the time. There is another therapist in their office Hugh who we really liked. He was the covering therapist while Tristan was on maternity leave.  Tristan is the only one in the office who is in network. If you are going for speech therapy for a young child; I would suggest going to Salt lake or through Early Intervention. We had much better success with them.  Our biggest complaint about this office is that the Secretary, Judy I believe her name is the worst front office staff I have ever dealt with my life. She is rude and extremely unpleasant. Just scheduling the first appointment she made me feel unwelcome. She glares at the patients while sitting in the waiting room. She bills inconsistently through the insurance and then blames the insurance for poor billing. She refused to bill with the correct CPT codes to get the visits covered. We left this office because she was so unpleasant to work with we could not handle the stress of going back. We would have used our out of network benefits to see Hugh but could not deal with the secretary's bedside manner any longer. Unfortunately, this is the only Aetna in network child therapist in the directory in the Ogden/Layton area. The other lady listed is retired.
