I have never disliked a therapist until working with Dr. Myers. I have never felt more powerless of my plan of treatment and care. Everything I said was "clouded judgment due to eating disorder" which made me feel like all I was was my eating disorder. I truly do not recommend her and left nearly all of my appointments in tears. She framed it like I did not want to get better when in reality I was purely struggling and needed some more guidance or an alteration in my plan of treatment. Why would I not want to get better when I am actively seeking treatment and striving for a better life?
