My wife and I went for marriage counseling and he ended up driving us to divorce. He seemed nice at first, but didn't offer real solutions and by our final sessions, came across as arrogant, judgemental, and egotistical. He likes to talk over and not listen and flat out said he didn't believe me when I tried to tell him things that had happened that bothered me in my marriage. His whole process was a conflict inducing "he said, she said" format where he would bring one of us in first to "tattle" on the other and the switch and then put us together to basically argue. He likes to brag about his own football star grandsons a lot which I felt was inappropriate. The final session he actually started yelling at me in front of my wife and insulted and attacked my faith and tried to belittle me. I talked to other therapists I know and they suggested reporting the behavior.
