Dr. Thomas Kalkiewicz Jr., M.D.

In 2022, when I decided to change pediatricians to a doctor closer to home I was mostly looking to change the geographical location of the our pediatrician. I looked at reviews, of course, but nothing on paper can really tell you the tenor,  and disposition of a person.  But then I found a doctor within a five minute drive and now we've been associated with Dr. Kalkiewicz's (Dr. K) office for a couple of years. Like I said, location was the key to our doctor change initially, so when Doctor K then decided to make a move to a larger more distant office a year later, it's funny, I didn't hesitate to follow him to his new office. At the time I didn't ask why, but now I know why. I just realized that although he is a serious practitioner, fully knowledgeable,  and well versed, with my boys, he is also patient, kind, caring, and lighthearted. Making even a worried mom and a sick kid smile while in the throes of some serious concerns. Even when troubling things arise, how beautiful a day can be when kindness touches it and your trouble is in the right doctor's hands.
